Dr Kun Qi received his Ph.D. in materials science and engineering from Jilin University, China, in 2017. He then worked as a research fellow at Monash University, Australia, where he investigated the transition metal dichalcogenides and their derivatives for (photo)electrochemical water splitting. He then started as an ERC-funded postdoctoral researcher at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), France, investigating the novel transition metal alloy catalysts and their properties for electrochemical CO2 reduction reactions. Together with the optimisation of the triple-phase interphase electrolyzer and the high-pressure electrolyzer. Dr Kun Qi joined the Materials Discovery and Interfaces Chair in November 2022. His research focuses on high-throughput prediction and screening of high-entropy alloy catalysts for electrochemical CO2 reduction reaction by SECCM.
